My husband passed away this year (this is he pictured with his 1966 Corvette Stingray Convertible). The car sits in the garage now without a battery and is not immediately driveable since he left the gas in it and hadn't driven it in years.
1966 Chevrolet Stingray Convertible, Mosport Green (very rare color), original color to the car. Purchased at the Hershey Pa. antique car/market. Has both conv. and hard tops and has had an off-frame restoration.
When we bought it there were several Corvettes available at the market. He only wanted a 1966, 4 speed, didn't care about the motor (it has a 327), and told me to pick one out. I chose the Mosport Green, because I thought it was pretty! Who knew, based on that thought we would end up with a rare car.
