Speedster (Na)

This is a 1997 Mazda Miata spec'd for the Philippine market. The car originally came with a 1.6 liter, 5 speed transmission, 4.30 gearing with an open differential. Only 200 units were brought in by the importer back in 1996. This car is one of the 200. The engine is slightly modified. Intake manifold and cylinder head have been match ported, the cylinder head is equipped with bigger valves while the ports are noticeably larger. The cylinder head and engine block underwent resurfacing so a slight increase in compression was achieved. Camshafts are CAT Cams 274/266 duration, Fidanza adjustable cam sprockets, 450 cc injectors, Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, Speeduino ECU, Mazdaspeed headers, Porterfield brake pads, Exedy sport clutch, Emotion coil-over suspension. Front windshield & side glass was replaced with Perspex. Wheels are Rota 7.5"x17 with Bridgestone 205/45x17. The rear cowl is a one-off.
