This is my 2nd Miata, a '93 that I purchased 2 years ago. It was a very oxidized red automatic with a straight body and chassis. I transplanted the VVT/manual/torsen from my wrecked 1st Miata (picture at the end, totalled at a hillclimb event in 2019 a couple of months after attending FM Summer Camp) and repainted the body in my garage. I couldn't resist doing the polished aluminum hood again!
FM bits include a 2.5 suspension (Tokiko version), frame rails, little big brake kit, randall cold air intake, 36-2 tooth timing wheel. Other mods include a Hard Dog roll bar, Frog arms, a Megasquirt pnpPro ECU (needed to control the VVT), Racing Beat header and Roadstersport exhaust. The VVT engine itself is stock except for a VICS intake manifold and makes 136whp on the dyno... not turbo power but a noticable increase over stock.
