My 2000 Mazda Miata may not be quite quite as "spicy" as some of the other cars in this category, but with the roll bar, fixed bucket seats, and 15x9 Kogeki wheels it doesn't quite look stock enough to be "mild".
When I bought it last year it was a completely stock base model silver NB with ~116k miles. I've done all of the modifications myself in my spare time. The yellow is a 3M vinyl wrap which really suits the Miata well. I've got some good Flyin' Miata parts like their frame rail braces, butterfly brace, strut tower bar, and 15x9 Kogeki wheels. I swapped in an OEM 4.3 ratio Torsen differential, a squaretop intake manifold, and installed a MS3Mini ECU to get familiar with tuning before going forced induction.
When I bought the car I didn't really know what would come. I quickly discovered a large and welcoming community with huge OEM and aftermarket support. Through the community I was introduced to grassroots motorsports and have enjoyed autocross and HPDE track days, both which really suit the Miata.
