In the year of 1989 the 11 y/o me came home from school to find an amazing little red car parked in our tiny back yard. It was my dad's brand new MX-5. He did things like that. Spontatious car buying. Buy, sell, repeat.
My parents weren't wealthy and you didn't need to be to own a Miata. I remember how this car turned heads in the early '90's. Then, I saw the impact it made as the years and decades passed. I learned how to drive a manual transmission in this car at 15, without permission. I went to prom and broke down in this car with my now wife. I bought it from my dad and I've owned it for almost 10 years now. Most of the miles on the odometer belong to me. Same with the little scratches and dings. Mine too.
With only 15,005 miles it has many stories and still many more new memories to make. Here's to all your memories and our experiences in this beautiful car that Mazda gave us. No matter the age, miles, or what's under the hood. Cheers!
