I originally bought this truck as a basket case in 1984. Few years went by and realized I was in over my head. So I sold it to a friend. Over the next four years he built it in his garage from the frame up. It was put back on the road in 1990. He likes projects, but has a hard time with details and finishing touches. In 1998, he sold it back to me. And I have been doing upgrades, and finishing touches to it ever since. It has been driven every year for the past 30 years. It is still the same basic configuration as it was rebuilt. 355 small block Chevy with 3 speed automatic trans. S-10 rear end, and a IFS from a Pacer. At an annual GM Employee car show, it was picked to represent the 40’s Chevy Trucks in the upcoming 100 Year Anniversary ad campaign. After the photo shoot, they realized it was not as stock appearing as they wanted, so it was cut from the brochure. It is also on this years Woodward Cruise 2020 web pages.
