Texas motor speedway is one of the better known tracks in Texas that features a NASCAR All-star race weekend as well as some major indycar events. The Richard Petty driving experience offers a course developed by seven-time NASCAR champion Richard Petty. It offers the opportunity to get behind a real NASCAR and hit speeds up to 165 mph. I'm not the biggest NASCAR fan, but I definitely enjoyed getting to drive one of the cars. That's me above looking about 10 years old when they let me clock some laps with this school.
The Mario Andretti racing experience puts you behind the wheel of a real Indy-style race car with an instructor guiding you around the track via your racing electronics. This is a cool option to get inside of an open wheel racecar.
